(12/30/21 10:30 am Note) Since this was published the council has called ANOTHER “special” council meeting for Friday Dec 31st 2021 at 10am. the second in 9 days and only 3 days before the regularly scheduled council meeting.

Agenda (assumed)

• Seat newly elected Council members

• Review old business ( Secretary and Treasurer positions)

• Review Budget summary for 2021

• Review Contract to buy the Starrucca Baptist Church as Borough Community building

EDITORIAL - Update Jan 3rd 9:40 PM

Newly elected Mayor Jason Heeman was seated, appointed a secretary, Raymond Woods, New Council member Jack Downton legally challenged the previous councils appointment of Kirk Rhone to council and asked him to leave the table. Kirk Rhone, Darl Haynes and Keith Paine left the meeting in protest. the remaining council members and Mayor Nominated Gale Reddon as President of the council. Gale then read a letter of interest in the open council seat from Mary Anne Debarco’s resignation Oct 15 2021, and the motion passed to accept Theadore Betzel Jr on to the council. Full minutes and video recording to come in the next day or so.
